The Atlas shows AI regulation by jurisdiction, regulator, rule status and date.
Red means in force. Amber means the rule takes effect within 60 days. Green means the next 120-day horizon. Slate means the instrument has been removed from force.
If a regulator publishes on Tuesday, your Friday board paper should not miss it.
what the atlas tracks
The Atlas tracks public instruments that bear directly on AI development, deployment or oversight.
That includes statutes, regulations, supervisory standards, technical rulebooks, ministry directions and court orders.
Status is calculated from the rule date and the scan date. The classification is recomputed on each scan.
removed rules
The Atlas checks whether a tracked instrument has been repealed, revoked, withdrawn, superseded or otherwise removed from force.
When an official source confirms removal, the instrument changes to slate.
Slate instruments do not appear as red.
