This is a new way for management consultants to work. You bring what you are already good at, advising leaders and delivering real change, and you do it as an AI consultant, on your own terms. You keep your craft. You build your own practice. The firm gets behind you.
How the role works
- Remote first, from wherever you are, with no required travel.
- You choose your own working hours and design your week around your life.
- Commission based and uncapped. You share in the work you win, and there is no joining fee.
- Principal-led delivery. You scope and deliver client engagements yourself, with no junior handoffs.
- A flat structure. You step into a Principal role and own your client relationships directly.
The work you could lead
Our consultants advise across the full breadth of enterprise AI. You go deep where your expertise and interest take you, rather than being pushed to generalise. At a high level, the work spans:
- Strategy and value: AI readiness and value identification, generative AI strategy and deployment, AI-powered revenue growth, AI-powered financial performance, and national AI and government advisory.
- Governance and responsible AI: AI governance and regulatory compliance, AI compliance for regulated industries, responsible AI, and AI ethics.
- Delivery and operations: business process redesign for AI, data strategy and data governance, supply chain and operations, and customer experience.
- People and leadership: AI leadership coaching and board advisory, and workforce and talent transformation.
- Transactions: AI due diligence and post-merger integration.
You will not touch all of this. You will choose where you lead.
Who this role is for

This role rewards people who have already advised clients and led delivery. You will be talking to senior leaders from the start and shaping work that clients choose to pay for. It is a great fit if you are entrepreneurial and want to build something of your own.
If you have not yet developed client-facing skills, this is a stretch, and we say so plainly. If you are entrepreneurial, ready to give it a go, and you bring prior client experience, you will thrive. We strongly recommend that prior client experience.
What we look for
Essential
- Experience advising external clients as a management consultant.
- A track record of building client relationships you are proud of.
- Experience leading delivery in a client-facing role.
- An entrepreneurial outlook. You enjoy creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
- Knowledge of AI strategy or digital transformation, or strong consulting foundations you are ready to apply to AI.
Helpful
- A background at a leading consultancy, advisory firm, or technology company.
- Depth in one or more areas of enterprise AI.
- Hands-on curiosity about AI tools.

Every role at Exec x AI is performance-based. Compensation is tied directly to the revenue you generate, the clients you win, and the region you own. There are no salary caps and no artificial ceilings. Senior commercial leaders who perform at the level these roles demand earn accordingly
